Marsh's Library

A visit to Dublin can, with great value, include a trip round some of the public libraries.

Recently we were welcomed to Marsh's Library, the oldest lending library in Ireland, which is now a repository for fine manuscripts and books of interest to anybody who likes antique printing techniques and etching.

We were allowed to photograph the beautiful botanical works on display, not using flash, of course.

Update...

Unfortunately, uploading photos taken in Marsh's Library turned out to be in breach of copyright. All photos taken there belong to the library and may not be published in any medium.

A reason for those interested to visit in person, perhaps?
