Back on a Steep Learning Curve Here

I have been spending a lot of time on social media and have just discovered Pinterest and the joys
of Google+.

Blogging has taken a back seat for over a year now and it looks as if I'll be visiting
here less often. However, it's good to just drop by to wish any remaining readers
all the best.

Regards from Dublin, Ireland,

And there are some of us, yes.

On the other hand, now we're back in the US, I find it a bit stifling. How can I write about my idiot coworkers, when someone at the company might read my blog? Troublesome.

Also: it's just not as interesting, living back where we'd lived for years and years. Nothing terribly new.

Ahh, well. Always enjoy the glimpse into your world.

How lovely to hear from you, David.

I have become much more comfortable with social media and, in my case, worrying about what people think is not an issue, thank heavens. I expect that positive feedback to your coworkers might do the trick. I expect there must be some who are not idiots...

Life in Dublin is as pleasant as ever. I continue to work away at the photography coalface and have finally got up the courage to address portraiture. I'm a bit shy about asking people to pose for me and have discovered that street photography takes away that problem as most passers-by are not aware of the camera.

Best regards to you and family, Maria
