The Protocol of Commenting on Blogs (Again)
A comment I posted on another Blogger site, congratulating the author on a new book, gave promise of success today. At last contact with a wider world was restored.
Not for long.
It was removed...
Tant pis pour Galway. Nul points.
Now I'm left wondering if the blogger in question had taken offence.
Shan't return to the scene of the crime to risk finding out.
Anways...
Off for an enjoyable dinner, with lashings of apples from the garden.
Tomorrow is another day.

I wonder: when people relate so poorly to words, why do they write? If they take offense, oughtn't they just go away?
I like the word "lashings", it evokes childhood, and Enid Blyton books, and something sweet for dessert.
Unfortunately, for writers, books and blogs are a dialogue and depend on readers. Some writers are unsuccessful due to having forgotten this. Visual artists are in the same boat, I suppose. If there is nobody there to look, does the work actually exist, as dear old Berkeley wondered?

It may be the subconscious speaking... I normally associate the word with rain.
The apples have thrived thanks to yet another wet Summer.
