Ye Gods
The recent reference to the Peanut Gallery
brought me, for no particular reason that I
can imagine, to the first time I saw that
glorious French film classic,
"Les Enfants du Paradis".
Perhaps it's the warmth that the players in the
film expressed for the screaming, cabbage wielding
yokels way up in the gods that made me realize that
all Blogger are,
in one way or another,
playing to the gallery...

But if we're playing to the gallery, who's actually paying for this stuff? I mean, the fact that there's a peanut gallery must mean that there are also expensive seats, right? ;)
Not necessarily. The quality that most characterizes the Internet, as far as I can see, is this is a democracy. To extend the metaphor, we bloggers are probably also
products of the peanut gallery.
On the other hand, the view from so high up in the gods can be a bit limited...
Hmm... I think that it's rather an anarchy, or an attempt at one. ;)
I tend to think paradoxically. It covers most occasions.
