I Like Lilies
You learn something new every day. Today I discovered that the orange lily has negative symbolic connotations.
That is a pity and I wonder why people would choose to associate such a lovely flower with unpleasantness.

Gee, I like lilies too.
I associate the white cala lilies with funerals, but orange ones I find very cheerful.
They are such delicate and intricate flowers. I can't imagine why anyone would see something negative in them.
Funerals and death aside, beauty is beauty after all....no?
