Je Suis Confuse...

New times, new places. Here in Melbourne everything seems exotic, highly coloured. Walking the the suburbs of Kew and Boroondara yesterday was a revelation. Two parrots communicated vigorously from overhead and made fine subjects for photography. We visited the Boroondara Library, learned much about the Irish in Australia, notably Sir William Stawell, who was second Chief Justice of Victoria in the Nineteenth Century, and discovered that there is a Twitter site for literary enthusiasts and readers. A very full day, leaving me with a head buzzing with new information which has yet to be digested. Can I tell a lorikeet from a parakeet? Not yet...
