Patent New

This intellectual property subject has set me on a quest.

What happens if you apply for copyright or a patent in one country
and try to travel with it?

It's a large field...

The thing with copyright is that it's different than patent: patent is to do with reserving the right to market an invention, copyright is an assertion of ownership of a finished "work." So, you can assert your copyright ownership globally, whereas you can only assert patent rights within a particular legality.
