Diss Spelling is Driving me Crazy

I've often had reason to be grateful that English
is my mother tongue. The spelling system would drive
the strongest to madness or drink (or both).

Thanks to a terrifying experience when an inspector
visited our primary school, I could spell the word
"pencil" in my sleep.

"Dispel" still causes much stress.
